Shinsuke Nakamura Headed to Performance Center

Recent WWE signee and Japanese sensation Shinsuke Nakamura has landed in America and is Florida-bound to the WWE Performance Center, says a report from PWInsider’s Mike Johnson.

A source of Johnson’s said that the “King of Strong Style” was greeted by long-time WWE hand Funaki at New York’s JFK Airport, and that he will arrive in Orlando later this week to begin his time in WWE, before returning to Japan later in the month.

It is likely that Nakamura will meet with his old friends from NJPW like Finn Balor and NXT head trainer Matt Bloom, who will help him get acclimatised to the much softer hitting WWE style, as well as get him into a WWE ring, which is slightly larger than what he may have been used to in Japan.

Some work against Sami Zayn is also possible ahead of the Wrestlemania weekend match between the two at Takeover: Dallas, where Nakamura will debut in a WWE ring.
