Dutch side RKC Waalwijk put on a Valentine’s special on Friday night ahead of their match against FC Emmen.
In a wonderful publicity stunt, they ditched the traditional kid mascots for some stunning underwear models to accompany them out the tunnel and on to the pitch.
However, if the move was an attempt to throw their opponents off their game by distracting them, it most certainly didn’t work.
FC Emmen ran out eventual 1-0 winners over their hosts, leaving Waalwijk rooted to the bottom of the second tier of Dutch football.
The appearance of the scantily-clad models was also caught on camera and uploaded to Twitter by the visiting team.

A valiant effort from the Jupiler League strugglers, who have clearly thought outside the box in a bid to get the better of their opponents.
How we’d love to see this approach taken more often by teams in the Premier League.
