Steven Fletcher made his first appearance in a Marseille shirt last night and left Edinson Cavani looking a little surprised.
The Scotland international joined the French side on a six-month loan deal from Sunderland on transfer deadline day, much to the amazement of supporters all over the country.
He made his debut last night playing at home against PSG’s star-studded side, with the likes of Angel Di Maria, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Cavani all in tow.
And the Uruguayan striker apparently didn’t get the memo about Fletcher arriving in France, flashing a rather confused look as the former Hibs man was introduced as a sub for Michy Batshuayi on 80 minutes:

Fletcher couldn’t help his side pick up any points, with Cavani’s side winning 2-1 to extend their unbeaten run to 34 matches.
To be fair, would you really expect Cavani to know who Steven Fletcher was? We don’t imagine he spends much time following Sunderland or the Scottish national team.
