Alex Iwobi Talks About Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Doesn’t Know He’s Standing Behind Him

Alex Iwobi should perhaps take a quick scan of a room before talking about one his Arsenal team-mates.

The pacey winger has managed to force his way into Arsene Wenger’s plans this season despite being just 19, and was handed a new long-term contract at the Emirates in October last year.

But becoming a first-team star at a club as big as Arsenal carries certain responsibilities, such as talking to the in-house media channel.

Earlier this week, it was Iwobi’s turn to take part in the Gunners’ Twitter Takeover series, where a star answers questions from fans on social media, as you can see from the clip above.

He was asked about everything from his goalscoring record in the youth academy, to his bright international career with Nigeria.

And Iwobi was also asked about his relationship with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and how much he enjoyed playing with the England international.

What he didn’t realise was that The Ox had managed to sneak into the room and was standing right behind him when he was giving his answer.

Thankfully, it was all positive. Just imagine how awkward it would have been if it wasn’t.
