Celtic’s Leigh Griffiths Admits He Doesn’t Like Being Subbed After Mini Tantrum

Celtic today booked their place in the Scottish Cup semi-final – where a potential meeting with old rivals Rangers awaits – after the ever present Leigh Griffiths gave them the lead in the first 15 minutes of their quarter-final tie with Greenock Morton.

The forward, who has bagged over 30 goals this season already for his club, added to his tally before Gary Mackay-Steven and Callum McGregor finished the job before half time.

It means we could now be left with a mouth-watering semi-final between the Old Firm when the draw is made at 4:45 today and Griffiths has taken to Twitter to say he can’t wait for the next round.

However, in the same post the 25-year-old joked that he doesn’t like being subbed after TV cameras picked up his mini tantrum following Ronny Deila’s decision to replace him with Patrick Roberts.

The victory will be a relief for Ronny Deila who was under a massive amount of pressure following back to back draws .
