Could Rangers’ full-back Lee Wallace be about to get a Scotland call-up after all?
The Gers captain was a notable omission from Gordon Strachan’s squad list, despite the manager naming two different pools of players from the friendlies against Denmark and Czech Republic at the end of March.
Despite scoring eight goals, and being generally outstanding throughout the campaign, Wallace was left out, along with Aberdeen’s Graeme Shinnie, whilst players like Oliver Burke and Liam Cooper from England’s Championship were given the nod.
But news of an injury to Celtic’s impressive full-back Kieran Tierney could skew things, and force Strachan to call-up a replacement – and Wallace would surely make the most sense.
I hope Wallace tells Strachan to ram it if he tries to call him up due to Tierney's injury.

Tierney limped off during Celtic’s Scottish Premiership match against Kilmarnock this afternoon, following a clash with Lee Ashcroft.
The extent of the knock is not yet clear, but he had to be replaced, looked in some discomfort and was seen with an icepack on his ankle.
Could Wallace be his replacement? Should he be?
