The less said about Everton’s day on the pitch the better.
The Toffees continued their up-and-down season at home to Arsenal, losing 2-0 to the Gunners thanks to goals from Danny Welbeck and Alex Iwobi.
The players on the pitch have followed-up their impressive FA Cup quarter-final win over Chelsea with a less than convincing performance, but off the pitch, it’s been a completely different story.
It’s Junior Fan Day at Goodison Park, and Everton are making a real effort to make it a special one for their young supporters.
And one lucky lad was even been invited to join Roberto Martinez in home dugout – as he was dressed exactly like the Spanish manager.
Who would you prefer in charge of Everton? pic.twitter.com/kEoZPkpbhS

Brown brogues, navy blue waterproof, padded jacket – you name it, this lad had it. And to be fair, Everton would probably conceded the same amount of goals with him in charge too.
The best thing we’ve seen all day. Well played, young man.
