Georgios Samaras bumped into a Celtic fan while on a pre-season trip to Miami with new team Rayo OKC this week.
The Greek striker signed for the North American Soccer League team last week, joining on a one-year deal to play a part in a historic inaugural season for the Oklahoma franchise.
And it hasn’t taken him long to scope out a Hoops supporter despite being just five days into his career with a club on another continent.
Samaras shared this picture alongside the Celtic fan on his Instagram account and wrote: “Once a Celtic, Always a Celtic..”
It just shows that fans of both Celtic and Rangers can be found the world over.
It’s an exciting time for Samaras as he gets his career started with Rayo OKC after struggling since leaving Glasgow in 2014.
The NASL outfit are making a big deal of bagging the Greek international with experience of playing in European Championships and World Cups.
Their unveiling of Samaras looked a world away from what he was probably used to at his previous clubs, but there’s no doubt Rayo are excited about their new man:

Fans will get their first chance to see Samaras in action when Rayo take on Jacksonville Armada on Friday.
