It’s goals like this which make you amazed that Ross McCormack is continually overlooked for the Scotland national team.
The Fulham striker scored his 21st of the season as his side lost 2-1 to Bristol City and it’s probably his best of the season.
He was left out of the two Scotland squads named by Gordon Strachan earlier this week for upcoming friendlies with Czech Republic and Denmark.
But watching this makes you question just how Strachan chose to ignore him.
McCormack burst on to a long ball over the top in the third minute and what came next was simply outstanding:

How good is that? And, if you’re a Scot, it should make you feel pretty depressed about players like Tony Watt, Steven Fletcher and Steven Naismith getting call-ups for the national team later this month while McCormack sits at home.
Fulham might find themselves 20th in the Championship, but McCormack is bang in form and you have to think that if they didn’t have his goals then they’d probably find themselves in the relegation zone going into the season run-in.
