“Is This Game Behind Closed Doors?” – Rival Fans Mock Celtic’s Attendance

Celtic boss Ronny Deila racked up even more pressure on himself during the week as his side drew a blank during their league game with Dundee – the same team rivals Rangers thrashed 4-0 yesterday in the Scottish Cup quarter-final.

It meant that the Hoops had only grabbed two points out of a possible six from their league ties against Hamilton and Paul Hartley’s side, allowing Aberdeen to put themselves right back in the mix for the title.

Today, however, Celtic have the chance to get back on track with a victory as they host Championship side Greenock Morton in their Scottish Cup quarter-final.

A high-scoring win may be enough to get some Celtic supporters back on the Deila bus but the high number of empty green seats must still be a worry for the club’s hierarchy.

An official attendance count is yet to be announced, however, they are certainly miles away from the 60,000 bums Celtic Park can sit and rival fans couldn’t wait to mock the situation on Twitter.

Are Celtic fans right to do their talking with their feet? Or should they still be getting behind the team?
