Middlesbrough Fans are Overjoyed as Aitor Karanka Takes Over Club Days After Leaving

It’s been a crazy few days in the North East of England after Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka walked away from the promotion-chasing club on Friday while former Liverpool and Real Madrid boss Rafa Benitez was unveiled as the new manager of relegation candidates Newcastle United.

Karanka walked away from the Championship high-flyers after a training ground spat and was believed to be considering his future after assistant Steve Agnew took charge of training on Saturday before leading the club out in their 2-0 defeat to Charlton yesterday.

However, tonight has been a great night for Boro fans after the club announced in a statement that the Spaniard would be resuming first-team duties with immediate effect.

The news came as a delight to most of the Middlesbrough supporters who believe Karanka is the man to lead them to promotion and the majority took to Twitter to share their happiness with others.
