Romelu Lukaku’s Dad Says Everton Striker Must Join Manchester United or Bayern Munich

Romelu Lukaku’s Dad Says Everton Striker Must Join Manchester United or Bayern Munich

Romelu Lukaku’s recent form for Everton means he finds himself on the shopping list of many of Europe’s biggest teams.

However, the player’s father insists that Lukaku must consider moving to either Manchester United or Bayern Munich.

The 22-year-old has scored 25 goals in 29 appearances for the Toffees this term and is currently the Premier League’s third top goalscorer – a record which has Europe’s elite circling.

And Roger Lukaku told Het Laatste Nieuws‏ that his son is now ready to make the next step in his career.

He said, as per ESPN: “He’s ready. I see that there is interest from Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Chelsea and Manchester United.”

And Lukaku Snr. already knows which teams would be a good fit for his son, claiming that Bayern and United would be ideal, although the Bundesliga champions would have to sell Robert Lewandowski first:

“I think he must choose Manchester United or Bayern Munich. Manchester United is a team under construction with no real focus.”

“Bayern Munich is a machine where he can rotate well. The only condition is if Robert Lewandowski leaves.”

It’s unclear where Lukaku will be playing his football next season, with so many options open for the Belgian international.

But Roberto Martinez will surely have to come to terms with selling the striker sooner rather than later.
