Video: Arsenal-Supporting Miami Dolphins RB Jay Ajayi Puts His Gunners Knowledge to the Test

Miami Dolphins running back Jay Ajayi is one of a select few; an NFL player who was born right here in the UK.

And while he’s plying his trade in Sunshine State, Ajayi was actually born in London and grew up as a die-hard Arsenal fan.

But with the 22-year-old moving to America in 2000 there was a real possibility that Ajayi may have put his love for the Gunners on the back-burner.

Then again, that may be doing him a disservice, as Ajayi was happy to put his knowledge to the test this week when he sat down with Bleacher Report.

Ajayi is asked all sorts of Arsenal-related trivia, including ‘who is Arsenal’s record transfer signing’ and ‘whose nickname is the BFG’.

A race between Hector Bellerin and a NFL running back?

Ajayi of course passes with flying colours, the only failure on his part was not knowing who Arsene Wenger’s side defeated in last season’s FA Cup final.

Ajayi finished last season with 187 yards on 49 attempts, scoring one touchdown against the San Diego Chargers in week 15.
