Leo Messi’s incredible skills seems to be rubbing off on Barcelona’s youth team players – particularly when it comes to free-kicks.
The Catalan club is famed for bringing through a seemingly never-ending conveyor belt of impressive youngsters, and South Korean midfielder Seung-Ho Paik could be the next to make the breakthrough.
The 19-year-old midfielder has cemented himself in Barcelona’s B team this season, and he appears to be standing out amongst his contemporaries.
He’s already trained alongside the likes of Messi, Neymar and Suarez by joining in training with Luis Enrique’s squad, and he appears to have picked up a few tips.
Playing for the B-team yesterday, Paik scored a brilliant free-kick against CF Damm, curling his effort high into the sky, before it dropped down into the top corner:
What a goal. Messi himself would be proud.
With the likes of Munir El Haddadi making the step up from the reserves in recent years, don’t be too surprised if Seung-Ho Paik is the next big star at the Camp Nou.
