A video has emerged online apparently showing Celtic fans asking Aberdeen midfielder Barry Robson to get sent off against Motherwell – 24 hours before he saw red against the Lanarkshire side.
Robson was a member of Gordon Strachan’s three-in-a-row Celtic team, that claimed the SPL title in 2009, with Robson scoring the winning goal in a crucial Old Firm match at Parkhead.
These day, Robson, now 36, is trying to wrestle the title away from Glasgow, turning out for title challengers Aberdeen.

And the former Scotland international was in action for the Dons in their crucial match away at Motherwell.
With Celtic winning earlier in the day against Kilmarnock, three points was absolutely vital for Aberdeen in their quest for a first top-flight championship since the days of Sir Alex Ferguson.
But, it wasn’t to be, with the Well triumphing 2-1 at Fir Park – and Robson seeing red.

He was apparently approached at Aberdeen’s team hotel in Cumbernauld on Friday evening, and asked to get sent off in exchange for a tenner.
We’re sure it was just a harmless coincidence.
