Riyad Mahrez has arguably been the player of the season in the Premier League so far.
The Leicester City playmaker has been the catalyst behind Claudio Ranieri’s title push, combining with top goalscorer Jamie Vardy on several occasions and pitching in with a number finishes of his own.
It’s his inspired form which has helped the Foxes to an incredible five-point lead over second place Tottenham with just seven games to go.
But Mahrez left his club duties to one side this week as he turns out for his native Algeria against Ethiopia.
And he was on hand with another assist in an absolute cracker of a finish from team-mate Saphir Taider.
The Leicester man caught the Ethiopian defence off guard at a corner-kick when he decided to float the ball out to the edge of the box where it was met by a stunning volley from Taider.
The move looked like it came straight from the training ground and was reminiscent of David Beckham combining with Paul Scholes at the height of their Manchester United careers.
