Manchester United youth team player Angel Gomes has marked himself apart from his contemporaries by scoring a brilliant goal for England’s under-16s against Brazil.
Still just 15-years-old, Gomes has already reportedly been earmarked as a potential first-team star for the Old Trafford club and he continued his rise through the ranks with an outstanding strike whilst on international duty.
Not 16 until August, Gomes shows skill beyond his youthful years by jinking between two Brazilians before curling his right-footed effort high towards the top corner, before it hit the post and bounced into the back of the net:

The goal gave England the lead, but they would go on to lose 3-1.
With the likes of Marcus Rashford, Donald Love and Tim Fosu-Mensah all given their chances in the senior squad recently, don’t be surprised if Gomes is the next prospect to emerge – particularly if Louis van Gaal manages to keep his job next season.
