Alex Iwobi After Arsenal Draw at West Ham: Still Got So Much to Learn

Alex Iwobi insists he’s still got so much to learn after playing in Arsenal’s 3-3 draw with West Ham this afternoon.

The Gunners blew a two-goal lead to go 3-2 behind to the Hammers at Upton Park going into the final 20 minutes.

Fortunately for them, Laurent Koscielny was on hand to spare their blushes and grab a point.

But it’s a result which effectively ends Arsenal’s chances of winning the Premier League this season as they could finish the weekend 13 points behind league leaders Leicester with just six games of the league campaign to go.

Iwobi has been a welcome addition to Wenger’s squad after breaking into the team in recent months.

But the 19-year-old midfielder admits he’s got some learning to do after playing the full 90 minutes as Andy Carroll put his team to the sword.

Writing on Twitter after the full-time whistle, Iwobi said:

But should it be Iwobi left feeling like he’s got more to learn?

It appears Wenger and his defence still don’t know how to defend a cross as all three Carroll goals this afternoon came from balls into the box.

Arsenal fans – how disappointing was your side’s approach to defending Carroll?
