Jalen Ramsey Reckons the LA Rams Traded Up So They Can Pick… Jalen Ramsey

With the NFL draft just two weeks away, it’s already getting pretty tasty as the LA Rams leapfrogged nearly half the league to acquire the No. 1 overall pick today.

And if you’re talking to Florida State defensive back Jalen Ramsey, he’s telling you its so the Rams can pick him before any other team gets the chance.

The massive trade deal means the Tennessee Titans (the original holders of pick No.1), receive the Rams’ 15th, 43rd, 45th and 76th picks in the draft.

And while that move would seem to suggest the Rams are going to move for a franchise player, like quarterbacks Carson Wentz or Jared Goff, Ramsey seems to think he’s going to be No.1.

The 21-year-old took to Twitter after the shock announcement that the Rams had given up a whole bundle of draft picks… and it’s clear this kid isn’t exactly lacking in confidence:

Most mock drafts will probably have to be re-written with the Rams jumping to the front of the line and it throws up a whole host of possibilities.

It will be equally interesting to see where Ramsey ends up… but we’re doubting he’s a No.1 selection.
