Leigh Griffiths is the hot favourite to be named Scotland’s Player of the Year after the PFA named their shortlisted nominees.
The Celtic striker is joined in the running by Aberdeen’s Jonny Hayes and Dundee duo Kane Hemmings and Greg Stewart.
Stewart, 26, has 11 goals from midfield this season, whilst former Rangers striker Hemmings has an impressive 25 goals to his name for the Dark Blues.
Hayes has just five goals this campaign but gets the nod off the back of helping his side challenge Celtic for the Premiership title.
Congrats to @celticfc Leigh Griffiths, @dundeefconline Kane Hemmings & Greg Stewart; @AberdeenFC Jonny Hayes on nominations for PoY.

Whilst Griffiths looks like landing the top prize, the award for young player of the year looks like being a bit closer, with John McGinn, Kieran Tierney, Barrie McKay and Jason Cummings all on the shortlist.
You could make a case for each player to take home the gong, with every one of them enjoying impressive campaigns for their respective clubs.
Who would you have as your choice?
