It appears that one of the fiercest feuds in football today is still alive and well.
The two men at the heart of it – Mauro Icardi and Maxi lopez – came face-to-face on Sunday evening when Icardi’s Inter Milan took on Lopez’s Torino in a Serie A clash at the San Siro.
In case you’re not familiar with their beef, let us bring you up to speed.
The pair have been at war with each other for a few years now ever since Icardi married Lopez’s ex-wife Wanda Nara in 2013 – just months after Wanda and Lopez had divorced.
The fallout intensified when Icardi got a tattoo of Lopez’s three children on his arm, with the latter then refusing to shake the hand of his countryman in a Serie A fixture in April 2014.
And in another episode of the tiff, dubbed the ‘Wanda derby’, Lopez refused to shake Icardi’s hand again before kick-off, and appeared to grab his crotch as they passed one another:

Icardi would go on to call Lopez ‘ignorant’ after the match, which Torino won 2-1.
Must be awkward for all of the other players involved, eh?
