Head Coach Jeff Fisher will now attempt to foster a pedigreed third-year college starter in Goff, who threw for 12,195 yards on 1,568 attempts with a career 96-30 TD-to-Interception ratio. Goff wooed scouts and analysts alike with his footwork and impressive passing ability.
The Rams looked to be set for Goff from the start, as they made a blockbuster trade had the Tennesse Titans exchange the number one overall pick and their fourth and sixth round selections for Los Angeles’ number 15 pick, two second-rounders, a third rounder, and their first-and-third round picks in the 2017 Draft.
