Saturday’s Best Bets From The Talkingbaws Tipsters

Unfortunately last week we came unstuck again on our quest for a winner, with both of our tipsters let down by one team. This week we recommence the competition between our resident betting boys Craig Borland and Ryan Donnelly, who will both be hoping to stick a point on the board.

It’s a difficult time to predict matches with teams across the country fighting for survival or promotion, but both our guys are confident of returning a profit.

Here are this weekend’s tips, with fantastic odds brought to you by our betting partner Ladbrokes.

Bet 1 – Treble @4/1 with Ladbrokes (Craig Borland)

The first choice on my weekend treble is high flying Wigan to score over 1.5 team goals @17/20 against lowly Doncaster. Wigan have been on a great run of form lately, unbeaten since September at home, and really pushing for one of the automatic promotion places.

Doncaster look like a team condemned to League 2, so we expect nothing more than a comfortable victory for Gary Caldwell’s boys.

Combining Wigan with Raith Rovers to win @6/5 is a great shout. They have lost only once in the last eleven games and having already cemented their play off spot, the pressure will be off. Dumbarton are struggling at the lower end of the table, so we fancy an away win for Raith tomorrow evening.

Last pick will be Burnley to win @Evs against Birmingham City. Burnley are only three victories away from sealing a return to the Premier League, so struggle to see a slip up here. Added to this, they have yet to lose away in the league across 2016.

Birmingham have struggled of late, with a only one victory in the last five. Difficult to see anything but an away victory this weekend.

Bet 2 – Treble @5/1 with Ladbrokes (Ryan Donnelly)

I have also plumped for Wigan to score over 1.5 team goals @17/20. As earlier mentioned, they are flying at the minute, having scored over fourteen goals in their last five away matches – nine in the last two. Pushing for the title, I can see them winning this one by a few goals.

Second game on my treble is again from League One and promotion hopefuls Rochdale to score over 1.5 team goals @Evs. They have covered this bet in four out of the last five matches, and against a poor Blackpool side, I fancy goals galore for Keith Hill’s men.

Finally, I am going for over 2.5 goals in the Scottish League Two match between Annan and East Stirling @8/15. Annan are in the fight for one of the playoff spots, against an East Stirling side who have chipped 74 goals this season. It’s a no brainer and one of my top tips for the weekend.

Good luck to everyone and remember to give us a follow on Twitter @TalkingBets. We would love to hear what one of our tipsters you have went with this week…
