Shane McMahon was handed control of Monday Night Raw despite his Wrestlemania 32 loss to the Undertaker.
Shane-O-Mac endured a gruelling Hell in a Cell bout with the Deadman before jumping from 20-feet on to a commentary table in a move which effectively ended the match.
Control of Raw depended on the outcome of that clash, with Vince McMahon handing it to his son if he managed to win.
The other twist to it was that the Undertaker would never fight at Wrestlemania again if he somehow lost to Shane.
Despite ‘Taker’s popularity, the McMahon loss disappointed fans – but it didn’t matter, he still gained control after facing his father on Raw in Dallas last night.
Shane admitted defeat and shook his dad’s hand before earning plaudits from the packed crowd.
And that was enough for Vince to give his son control:

WWE just got even more interesting now that Shane is to make a more permanent run in charge of Raw.
