Jerome Boateng was welcomed back to Bayern Munich training with open arms this week.
The 27-year-old Germany international has been out since suffering abductor damage during a 2-1 in over Hamburg in January.
But upon his return to the training ground, the former Manchester City defender was applauded by his Bayern team-mates, who were clearly excited to see him back in the fold.
The World Cup-winning stopper’s return will no doubt be an added boost for Pep Guardiola’s side as they stay in the hunt for domestic and European glory.
However, it remains unlikely that Boateng will feature in the German champs’ upcoming Champions League semi-final first-leg against the mighty Barcelona-conquering Atletico Madrid.
