Video: Pablo Zabaleta and James McClean in Tunnel Arguing About Penalty Decision

Pablo Zabaleta and James McClean had a funny clash in the tunnel at half-time of Manchester City’s 2-1 win over West Brom yesterday.

The pair played directly against each other in the evening English Premier League match at the Etihad and were involved in a penalty appeal for the visitors in the first-half.

McClean went at Zabaleta on the outside, but saw his cross blocked by the Argentinian – something the Irishman believe he did with the aid of his hand.

Replays showed it actually hit more of his backside than anything else and the referee’s decision not to give it was correct.

But McClean obviously didn’t agree – and the pair debated that again at half-time, with the City YouTube cameras catching Zabaleta telling his opponent to quit complaining:

It was a big result for City as they look to take command of fourth place in the Premier League table.

They lead rivals United by four points ahead of Louis van Gaal’s men taking on Tottenham at White Hart Lane this afternoon.
