When Bubba Watson lined up for an easy two-foot putt during his opening round at Augusta… you could have bet your house he was going to make birdie.
Unfortunately, if you did, you’re probably going to be sleeping on the streets tonight.
Yes, after an amazing gust of wind, Bubba’s seemingly simple shot veers off to the right of screen.
And needless to say, the two-time Masters champ wasn’t too happy about it:

You’d think after that misfortune things could only get better for the 37-year-old, but Watson is currently +1 thru 15.
That means, at time of writing, the American sits joint 34th alongside, Dustin Johnson, Keegan Bradley, Sergio Garcia and Martin Kaymer.
And Twitter was very quick to put the boot in after a less than impressive round from Watson:
Not a great day for Bubba. Watson shoots his first career double bogey. Come play me at the links @bubbawatson. #masters2k16

Meanwhile, the tournament favourite Jordan Spieth tops the leaderboard on -6, having completed his round earlier today.
