WWE Stars Sheamus and Rusev Don Celtic Shirts in Lennoxtown Visit

Have Celtic signed two new defenders?

No, but if you weren’t a fan of WWE then you could be forgiven for seeing the above picture and thinking your team had just tied up two huge centre backs ahead of next season.

Instead of some new signings, it was wrestling stars Sheamus and Rusev who were wearing Celtic strips as they visited the club’s Lennoxtown training ground this afternoon.

The Hoops were in training ahead of their league clash with Ross County and, after the players went home, the WWE pair got a look around the Glasgow facilities – even getting the chance to meet first team star Charlie Mulgrew and his children:

Sheamus – who will be well aware of the club given he’s from Dublin – and Rusev are in Glasgow as the WWE tour hits The Hydro later tonight.

Rusev actually proved he could give Craig Gordon a run for his money as he took a shot in goal and saved some shots:

Sheamus and Rusev have been all over the UK this week, visiting Manchester City’s training ground on Tuesday alongside WWE Dive Sasha Banks.

But Celtic haven’t gained any new fans – with Sheamus a Liverpool supporter and Rusev a follower of¬†Lokomotiv Plovdiv in Bulgaria.
