Andy Murray is Putting His Fans Through the Wringer Yet Again at the French Open

Andy Murray is Putting His Fans Through the Wringer Yet Again at the French Open

Another Andy Murray match, another heart-in-mouth afternoon for his followers and supporters.

Just two days after scrapping through the first round of the French Open against Radek Stepanek in a nail-biting five sets, world number two Murray is currently taking on French wildcard Mathias Bourgue for a place in the third round.

But, much to the frustration of some watching at home, Murray is making heavy weather of it against the man ranked 164 in the world at Roland Garros.

After winning the first set 6-2, Murray broke early in the second set, racing into a 2-0 lead.

But a switch seemed to turn in his brain, killing his focus, and the Scot proceeded to lose eight straight games, seeing him lose the set and a break in the third.

At the time this article was published, Murray has stopped the rot, and managed to get himself back in the third set, but there’s a lot of people wondering just exactly what’s going on with him just now:

Could it be all those rumours about a fall-out with former coach Amelie Mauresmo?
