England Fans Pretty Hacked Off With Harry Kane’s Performance Against Turkey

Harry Kane opened the scoring for England in their Euro 2016 warm-up match against Turkey today, but supporters seem pretty underwhelmed by his overall performance.

The Tottenham striker is expected to lead the line for Roy Hodgson’s men at the European Championships in France this summer, following a stunning Premier League season which saw him collect the Golden Boot award for his 25 goals.

But it seems goodwill is running low for the Spurs man, with many accusing him of being selfish this afternoon.

Playing in a front three with Raheem Sterling and Jamie Vardy, Kane passed-up several opportunities to lay on chances for his team-mates, opting to shoot instead.

He also blazed numerous free-kicks high over the crossbar, when he had plenty of team-mates to aim for in the penalty area.

And to top things off, he managed to miss a penalty by hammering it past the post:

Slating Harry Kane for one mediocre performance? Seriously? England fans don’t know how good they’ve got it, it seems!
