Hibs fans will not quite be over their first Scottish Cup win in 114 years which took place last weekend after an enthralling 3-2 victory over rivals Rangers seen David Gray become the first captain of the club since 1902 to lift the trophy.
Gray was also the man who sealed victory for his side with a thumping header in injury time sending the green and white end of Hampden wild.
However, one man who was influential in the famous victory was on-loan Celtic striker Anthony Stokes who gave his side the lead after two minutes before grabbing a crucial equaliser with 10 minutes remaining in the game.
The 27-year-old has already announced his intentions to return to Glasgow and impress new boss Brendan Rodgers with one year remaining on his deal at Celtic Park but he will most certainly have a place in every Hibs fans’ heart after his man-of-the-match performance last weekend.
If Stokes isn’t convinced that’s true, then he should take a look at the following video where an Edinburgh nightlub erupted in a rendition of ‘Stokesy’s on Fire’.
