Liverpool booked their place in their first European final since 2007 and Anfield erupted with Jurgen Klopp leading the way in terms of celebration.
The Reds were emphatic in their 3-0 win over Villarreal and will now play Europa League regulars Sevilla in the final after their 5-3 aggregate win over Shakhtar.
The Anfield side had it all to do after a late goal in the Estadio El Madrigal seen them start tonight’s leg 1-0 down.
But the home side were outstanding from the off as Villarreal struggled to get out their own half before an own goal from Bruno seen the tie level on the night.
Daniel Sturridge then put Klopp’s side 2-0 up on the night meaning they were through to the final as long as the away side didn’t grab a goal.
However, Adam Lallana ensured that would not be a problem as he tapped in Sturridge’s mishit to secure Liverpool’s place in Basel in two weeks time.
The German was eccentric as always and celebrated his side’s famous victory by walking round the park and coaxing the stands into a cheer with him … also known as the Ronny Roar.

Poor old Ronny may only have a few roars left in him though after announcing he would be stepping down as Celtic manager when the season ends.
The floor’s yours now, Jurgen.
