Manchester United Fans Slam Ed Woodward After Bayern Sign Renato Sanches

Manchester United fans are hating Ed Woodward right now after Bayern Munich announced the signing of Renato Sanches.

The Portuguese midfielder appeared set for a move to Old Trafford this summer going on multiple reports over recent months.

A £63million transfer fee was mentioned – which is expensive, but one most fans felt was deserved considering Sanches is one of the best young players in Europe.

United need to improve in the off-season and Sanches was seen as just one of many new signings needed to take the current squad from fourth-place contenders to a title-winning team.

But Bayern have hijacked the deal and announced a £27.6million deal to sign Sanches from Benfica.

And, as you can expect, United fans are not happy with executive vice-chairman Woodward letting the club miss out on Sanches:
