Sports Illustrated published its annual anonymous golf poll this week and it threw up some pretty interesting responses from the world’s top players.
The questions in the poll ranged from the topic of fallen legend Tiger Woods to Donald Trump and even included an insight into how much players believe their caddies should be paid.
Most notably, the majority of players on the PGA Tour indicated that they didn’t think Woods would ever win another title.
According to SI, 27% of players selected “no” when asked if they thought Woods could possibly make a winning return, while 31% said “don’t know”.
Woods hasn’t featured on the Tour since August due to undergoing back surgery and it remains to be seen when he will decided to make a comeback.
a number of recent promo videos and online clips showing Woods working on his swing would seem to suggest that the 14-time major winner isn’t too far away.
Other answers in the poll showed that 15% of players would rather Ernie Els had their back in a bar fight over rather than the 9% who voted for Keegan Bradley.
And 31% also believed that Adam Scott has the prettiest swing.
