Tahith Chong Shows Manchester United Fans What He Can Do in Holland U17 Game

Tahith Chong will report for pre-season training at Manchester United this summer after signing a contract with the English club.

The Dutch youngster has developed a reputation as one of the best young players in Europe from his time with Feyenoord.

A classy wideman with plenty of pace, power and creativity, Chong was reportedly interesting a host of top clubs before finally deciding last month that United was the team for him.

Now United fans want to know as much as possible about one of their newest young players – and they got the opportunity to watch him in a full game when Holland played Sweden at the Under 17 European Championships in Azerbaijan yesterday.

Chong’s Dutch side are in the semi-finals now after his goal was enough to give them a 1-0 win over the Swedes.

But he impressed throughout the game and this highlights reel will reinforce the belief that United have signed a player with bags of potential:

He’s like a talented Marouane Fellaini, isn’t he? Sort of? Okay, maybe not.

Chong is only 16 so it may be a while before we see him make any impact on the United first team.

But at a club with a rich history of bringing through quality young players, maybe Louis van Gaal will decide to use him next season?
