TaylorMade Just Made Things a Lot More Interesting For Junior Golfers With Phenom Range

TaylorMade have revealed their new Phenom range of clubs designed and engineered for junior golfers.

You may be more familiar with the M1 and M2 drivers or AeroBurner range to come out of the golf manufacturing giants.

But it’s all about the Phenom today – a set of clubs optimised to make junior golfers better with optimised lengths, weight and lofts for shots from tee to green.

Here we’ve got the full lowdown on the new set for smaller hands:

Driver and Fairway

TaylorMade already boast the best driver in golf and it’s only right the biggest club in their Phenom range is a 400cc titanium driver with the same standards and design of their M1, M2 and preceding clubs. It’s rare to see junior sets come with distance, forgiveness and easy launch technology, but that’s what TaylorMade are promising with this. As for the fairway wood, it features a stainless steel head with a low profile, low-CG design, which will help juniors get the ball up and in the air from the tee or fairway. The larger head size should be a big hit too.

Rescue and Irons

The Phenom rescue club is designed to be easy to launch with long distance and that’s aided by the stainless steel head design.

As TaylorMade says: “Perimeter weighted heads highlight the Phenom irons and wedge. Forgiving performance with generous offset assist in squaring the face at impact, enabling high and straight shots with greater accuracy. The multi-functional sole design aids in easy playability from a variety of lies and turf conditions.”

Putter and Bag

A putter is pivotal for a good golfer and the new Phenom putter should help juniors get confident on the green with practice. It has a face-balanced, centre-shafted mallet that’s been designed for easy alignment and a soft, solid feel at impact. The grip is specially designed for optimum stability, while the heel-toe weighting delivers forgiveness on those pesky mis-hits.

And the bag is ultra-lightweight, featuring dual ergonomic straps, premium materials and ample storage.
