Tipster v Tipster: Saturday’s Best Bets Showdown

Tipster v Tipster: Saturday’s Best Bets Showdown

It’s approaching the end of the season now, with Craig Borland in the lead to take the tipster crown, after bringing home the money with a superb 5/1 treble last weekend.

It’s all to play for with two week’s of the league season to go, so here are this week’s top picks from our tipsters:

Bet 1 – Double @5/1 with Ladbrokes (Craig Borland)

First bet is Man United to score over 1.5 goals @10/11. The FA cup finalists should be too strong for a relegation threatened Norwich, and with just 1 defeat in 8, United go into this one high in confidence. Backed up by Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford, United to bag a few goals should be a sound bet this weekend.

The next selection on my treble is Hibs V Raith Rovers both teams to score @11/10. This is my top tip for the weekend, given the attacking options on show. Raith have been in incredible form with just 1 defeat in 16 games and go to Easter Road in confident mood. Hibs have failed to score only once this season at home, in 18 league games, so both teams to score is a given.

Last of my tips this weekend is Fulham v Bolton over 2.5 goals @8/15. This has came in in 6 out of last 7 home games for Fulham and 9 out of 10 away games for Bolton. With it being the last game of the season I fancy both teams to finish strongly with a flurry of goals.

Bet 2 – Treble @5/1 with Ladbrokes (Ryan Donnelly)

Starting this weeks treble off in the Chamipnship with a Middlesbrough win v Brighton @ 11/10. Middlesbrough will only need a draw for promotion, but a win, coupled with a Burnley slip up, means the Championship title goes back the Riverside.

Next game up is the second leg of the League 1 playoff in Scotland between Elgin and Clyde. In this one I am going with over 2.5 goals @7/10. The first leg had plenty of goals and with Elgin’s strong home record, they will need to come out and give it a go to make up the two goal difference. Clyde should also score, so over 2.5 goals should be covered.

Last game on my treble takes me to France in a Champions League playoff between Lyon and Monaco. I strongly fancy Lyon to score over 1.5 goals @ 17/20. Lyon know a win guarantees second place and automatic champions league football next season, and with Lacazette in the team there will always be goals. Lyon have scored 2 or more at home in 8/10 last games, so over 1.5 goals is a must.
