Video: Colombian Goalscorer Taunts Opposition Goalkeeper and Nearly Causes a Riot

Atletico Nacional of Columbia won 3-1 against Argentine side Rosario Central in the Copa Libertadores on Thursday to book a place in the semi-finals.

However, as you’d expect, the game didn’t come without incident.

At one stage the match looked like it might spiral out of control as Atletico forward Orlando Berrio scored deep into injury time.

Berrio’s goal gave Nacional the 3-2 win on aggregate but the 28-year-old took things one step further by taunting the opposition goalkeeper.

Needless to say, the Rosario Central players took exception to this and things nearly turned ugly.

Berrio even adopted a boxing stance as he was surrounded by players from both teams, before being shown a straight red card by the referee.

Three Rosario players; Esteban Burgos, Damian Musto and Giovani Lo Celso, were also sent off during the scuffle:

Atletico’s dramatic victory means they will square off against Carlos Tevez’s Boca Juniors in the semi-finals.
