Sky Sports pundit Graeme Souness has compared the dramatic evacuation at Old Trafford this afternoon to experiences during his time at Rangers.
Manchester United’s final Premier League match of the season against Bournemouth was due to take place this afternoon at the club’s iconic stadium.

But just before the 3pm kick-off time, officials announced the game had been delayed due to a security fear, before announcing that it would be abandoned all together.
Fans were quickly urged to leave the ground, with broadcasters Sky forced to transmit from outside the stadium.
Presenter Ed Chamberlain and pundits Thierry Henry and Souness gave their thoughts from the Old Trafford car park, with Souness insisting he’d been through similar events whilst working in Glasgow:

It remains to be seen if or when United’s game will be replayed, with the club preparing for the FA Cup final.
