It’s the unofficial national drink and the ultimate hangover essential for the people of Scotland.

But Mark Warburton insists he has never and will never drink a can of Irn-Bru.

The Rangers boss ruled out ever swigging back a can of ginger during an On The Spot Q&A session on the club’s official YouTube channel.

The short clip shows the former Brentford manager being asked if he had ever eaten a roll and square sausage before washing it down with a big can of the fizzy stuff.

But Warbs responded by telling the fan that he hadn’t once tried Irn-Bru since making the switch north to Glasgow last summer.

And the Light Blues gaffer indicated that he didn’t fancy ever tasting it – after seeing first-hand what it has done to some of the staff around Murray Park.

You can check out Warburton’s response in the video below.

After wrapping up the Championship title and the Petrofac Training Cup, Rangers are now preparing to complete a treble if they can beat Hibs in the Scottish Cup Final at Hampden on May 21.
