Martin O’Neill might have a last-minute selection dilemma on his hands as he prepares to name his squad for Euro 2016 – with Roy Keane and Steve Guppy staking a claim.
The two coaches were undeniably top-class players in their day and despite now being in their 40s, they look like they still possess a bit of the old magic.
The Republic are currently preparing for two friendlies against Holland on Friday before taking on Belarus on May 31, as they look forward to their first major tournament since Euro 2012, and only their second since 2002.
And today, with O’Neill watching on, captain Robbie Keane joined Guppy and his namesake Roy for a fiercely competitive game of crossbar challenge:

Look at that absolute wand of a left foot Guppy has; people forget how good a player he was.
And as for Roy, he looks like he could still be strutting his stuff in midfield.
