Brendan Rodgers Has Already Heard About Celtic Superfan ‘Paul the Tim’

Brendan Rodgers began his Celtic reign with a 2-2 draw against Slovenian side Celje tonight.

In his first game in charge, the new Hoops boss fielded two completely different sides in each half as he continues to asses his best possible line-up for the new season.

A number of Celts fans were delighted to see midfielder Scott Allan in the starting team in Rodgers’ first game in charge.

While Nadir Ciftci scored on his return from a loan spell in Turkey and Aussie midfield ace Tom Rogic added a second to ensure the side avoided defeat in Slovenia.

The Parkhead stars are now aiming to prove their worth by catching the new manager’s attention ahead of their Champions League qualifiers.

But one man who certainly caught the former Liverpool gaffer’s gaze after the match was Celtic superfan ‘Paul the Tim’.

The diehard Celts supporter made the trip to watch the team kick-off a new era under Rodgers.

And he took to social media to post a picture with the Northern Irishman – revealing that Rodgers had already been made aware of his super fandom.
