The season may be over and the Euros are only a few days away now but that doesn’t stop players who aren’t involved in the summer tournament in France from getting their pre-season kicked off early – including Celtic’s Erik Sviatchenko.
The Danish defender had a fantastic start to life in Glasgow after making the switch from FC Midtjylland in the January transfer window.
Sviatchenko quickly found his place at the heart of Celtic’s defence and had fans calling for him to replace Scott Brown as captain after the Scotsman’s below average season.
Now, Hoops fans will love the 24-year-old even more as he took to Twitter to show off his training regime back home in Denmark … and it comes with a twist as his 63-year-old father provided crosses for the centre back.

Sviatchenko will be excited to return to Celtic after the break and begin the new season under new management with former Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers pulling the reigns at Parkhead following Ronny Deila’s exit.
