Jamie Vardy may be on the verge of moving from Leicester to Arsenal – but his potential new contract hasn’t been leaked.
Or not that we know of anyway.
There is a picture doing the rounds on Twitter which apparently shows an agreement between the Emirates club and the Leicester striker.
And at first glance it’s pretty believable – considering Arsenal have activated Vardy’s £20million release clause and it’s being reported that a decision will be made by the player before he heads off to France with the England squad:

We hate to burst the bubble of any excited Arsenal fans, but the contract looks to have been doctored to include Vardy’s name.
But, most notably, it’s dated on the 6th of May – which is one month ago today.
So that means the contract comes from last month and has been altered to show Vardy’s details or the creator of the picture forgot we’re in June.
Not that this picture being fake suggests that Vardy won’t sign for Arsenal.
The Leicester striker is definitely in talks with the Gunners and could decide his future lies in London and not Leicester.
But Arsenal fans shouldn’t take the contract as valid proof that an offer is on the table for the Premier League-winning England striker.
