Hamburg supporters have an ambitious request for owners of their club and have started a petition to sign Will Grigg.
The Northern Ireland striker was one of the most talked about players at Euro 2016 – despite failing to kick a ball throughout the entire tournament.
Grigg became the subject of a viral chant from supporters to the tune of 1996 dance track ‘Freed From Desire’ which soon had most of the continent singing along.
And it appears fans of the Bundesliga giants have the tune stuck in their heads too, after launching their petition directed at the club’s board.
According to the BBC, the petition already has more than 5,000 signatories, with the supporters aiming to improve the atmosphere at their stadium by signing Grigg.
The petition was posted on www.openpetition.de and states: “Grigg has a market value of €1.5m”.
“The striker enjoys an international reputation and would probably [pay for himself] several times over through merchandising.”
It goes on to claim that “The HSV fans need a player like Grigg.”
The 24-year-old has been linked with Celtic after scoring 28 goals for Wigan Athletic last season as the club romped to the English League One title.
But do you think he would be a hit in Germany? And will the Hamburg fans get their way?
