Jamie Vardy’s Wife Asks Leicester Fans to Stop Abusing Her Over Potential Arsenal Move

Jamie Vardy’s wife has taken to Twitter in a plea to Leicester fans to stop sending her abuse after rumours emerged last night that the striker could be on his way to Arsenal.

Social media went into meltdown last night as news emerged that Arsene Wenger was looking to bring the former Fleetwood Town striker to the Emirates and had triggered a release clause which was inserted in Vardy’s recent contract upgrade at the King Power Stadium.

Vardy had an incredible season with the Foxes as he bagged 24 Premier League goals, helping the Foxes to go on and lift their first top flight trophy in an historic season.

But it seems his romance with Claudio Ranieri may be coming to an end with Arsenal ready to pounce and snatch his services.

The 29-year-old is, of course, currently on international duty with the England squad as they prepare to kick off their Euro 2016 campaign against Russia next Saturday in France so he may be oblivious to it all.

That has left his poor wife Rebekah to deal with the abuse and she took to Twitter this morning to plead with Leicester fans to stop, adding that she has nothing to do with her husband’s career choices.

Has Rebekah’s Tweets all but confirmed Vardy’s decision on his future?
