Jamie Vardy’s Wife Wants Apology From Critical Leicester Fans

Jamie Vardy‘s wife appears to be looking for an apology from the Leicester fans who criticised her husband amid Arsenal‘s interest in signing him.

The Gunners activated the striker’s release clause at the King Power Stadium and appeared frontrunners to grab his signature going into Euro 2016.

But the Premier League champions have now confirmed that Vardy has signed a four-year contract extension with the club – ending any hope Arsenal had of making him their player.

Vardy and his wife received criticism when news of the Gunners move broke and the striker’s wish to think on the decision going into Euro 2016 with England.

Now Rebekah has taken aim at the Leicester fans who gave them stick on Twitter:

Another user responded that Vardy’s miss against Slovakia in England’s final group game of Euro 2016 was actually embarrassing.

And Rebekah wasn’t happy with that either:

But she did have some nice words from the supportive Arsenal and Leicester fans:

With Vardy’s future now secure, Leicester can get busy preparing for their Premier League title defence as well as a historic Champions League campaign.

And Arsenal will have to turn their attention elsewhere in the search for a striker.
