Kansas City Striker Dom Dwyer Gets Frightening Makeover After Losing England-Iceland Bet

Dom Dwyer is an English-born striker who plays for Sporting Kansas City – so as you’d expect he wasn’t best pleased when he saw the Three Lions get knocked out of Euro 2016 at the hands of Iceland last night.

And to make matters worse for Dwyer, his wife USWNT star Sydney Leroux Dwyer made an extremely bold bet with the 25-year-old before kick-off.

It’s unclear what the exact nature of the best was, but the results are truly frightening as Dom was forced to undergo the most disturbing of makeovers after Roy Hodgson’s side were sent home.

Brace yourself people, this isn’t for the faint-hearted:

England took an early lead on the night through a Wayne Rooney penalty in the fourth minute.

However, Iceland rallied and took advantage of some poor defending to secure a 2-1 victory thanks to goals from Ragnar Sigurdsson and Kolbeinn Sigthorsson.

A red-faced Hodgson revealed he was resigning from his post as England manager following the shock defeat.

Talking of red faces, we doubt Dwyer’s teammates will let him live this one down for quite some time…
