Luka Modric Scores an Unbelievable Goal Against Turkey and Twitter Goes Crazy

Euro 2016 is only three days in and we have already been treated to some absolutely spectacular goals with Croatia’s Luka Modric grabbing the latest.

The Real Madrid star is currently representing his country in their Group D opener against Turkey and has just scored what may be the goal of the tournament.

On Friday night we were treated to a phenomenal strike from Dimitri Payet in France’s 2-1 win over Romania and yesterday seen Gareth Bale and Eric Dier play their part for their country with two excellent freekicks.

However, Modric may have just topped the lot as he put his side in the lead with an unbelievable volley from 25 yards out.

Modric took advantage of a poor clearance from Turkey’s Selçuk İnan to smash home and give his side the lead thanks to some questionable goalkeeping.

It was an unbelievable finish and Twitter went crazy with many claiming it tops Payet’s strike from Friday night.

What do you think? Was it better than Payet’s winner?
