EA Sports revealed earlier this month that gamers will be able to take on the character of Hunter in their new game and feel what it’s like to make your way in the game with the English Premier League giants.
It’s an interesting new feature which has excited many fans following its trailer release – which you can see here if you haven’t.
And Rashford is among those excited to play as Hunter when the game is released in September this year.
There are similarities between the United and England youngster and Hunter. Rashford is only at the beginning of his career and has enjoyed a meteoric rise to the first team for both club and country.
That’s not lost on Rashford who, speaking to EASPORTS.com, said: “I actually can’t believe how accurate it is, watching Alex, it reminds me of my journey. It definitely reminds me of my experience, when you see Alex go into the manager’s office you don’t know what he’s going to say or what it’s going to be like, so it brings back memories.
“There are ups and down for all footballers and that’s shown in Alex’s journey. I just to try to stay level throughout and not get too high when things are going well or too low when things aren’t quite as good.”
If you were in charge of Rashford’s career, you’d be doing a pretty good job playing the game considering his achievements over the last five months.
He only made his United debut in the Europe League in February and went on to play regularly, scoring eight goals in all competitions before helping the club win the FA Cup and earning a spot in England’s Euro 2016 squad.
Rashford came off the bench in England’s 2-1 win over Wales in the group phase and his performance ensured he should feature again later on in the competition.
